Commercial & Light Commercial Rooftop Course This Commercial & Light Commercial Rooftop course is designed in an effort to exactly fit your servicing needs. As you know, constant volume rooftops comprise the vast majority of installed rooftops in the field today, so what better place to start your commercial training. This class is designed to provide detailed training to improve the troubleshooting skills and knowledge of HVAC technicians. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: â?¢ Understand in detail the mechanical refrigeration system including the compressor, drive train, and refrigeration cycle. â?¢ Understand the airside controls, including the economizer, powered exhaust system and head pressure controls. â?¢ Understand the different sequence of operations for the rooftop unit.
3V/PremierLink Class This training class is designed for dealer/contractors who want to become familiar with Carrier's 3V/PremierLink Control System. System changes, enhancements and differences are covered, as well as how to configure a 3V/PremierLink control system to maximize its capabilities. Also, during the training course we will discuss the architecture of the Carrier CCN control system. There will also be several live systems operating during the class so the students can have additional hands-on training with the controls. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: â?¢ Understand the setup, commissioning and operation of the controls. â?¢ Understand the air source linkage, linkage coordinator functions, and zoning configurations. â?¢ Understand and demonstrate the use of the Carrier Network Service Tool V software program with the 3V/PremierLink control system.
59/900 Series Furnace Course The 59/900 Series furnace course is designed to train the service technican to installation, setup the furance, understand the operation of the furnace, and troubleshooting procedures. Upon the completion of this course the student will be able to: - Understand the installation, setup, and operation of the furnace - Understand the application of the venting system to the furnace - Understand the performance of the furnace with the proper commissioning of the furnace
Understanding the "Emerson Comfort Alert" Control This training class is designed for dealer/contractors who want to become familiar with the "Emerson Comfort Alert" Control. Wiring and sequence of operation are covered, as well as how to troubleshooting the control. Also, during the training course we will discuss the self contained diagnostics in the control. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: â?¢ Understand the wiring, sequence of operation and troubleshooting of the control. â?¢ Understand the Comfort Alert diagnostic codes. â?¢ Understand the various uses of the "Emerson Comfort Alert" control.

Flame Rectification Seminar This training class is designed for dealer/contractors who want to become familiar with "Flame Rectification." Basic's of flame rectification will be discussed and sequence of operation are covered, as well as how to troubleshooting the controls that operate with flame rectification. Also, during the training course we will discuss the instruments to detect flame rectification. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: â?¢ Understand the sequence of operation and troubleshooting of the flame rectification control. â?¢ Understand the use and set up of the various instruments to detect flame rectification. â?¢ Understand the use and build a flame simulator.
NATE Gas Furnace Service Review and test, for proper service techniques, troubleshoot and diagnose gas furnace problems. Student must achieve a passing score of 70% or better, on core and speciality exam, to achieve NATE certificartion.
NATE CORE REVIEW & TEST Students will participate in class review of study guide and discussion of PowerPoint presentation, for student preparation and testing of NATE CORE.
Electrical Ladder Diagrams & HP Control Step-by-step construction of a simplified wiring diagram; covering power, control, and load circuits.
NATE Heat Pump Service Review and Test for NATE Heat Pump Service exam. Student will become familiar with heat pump refrigeration and controls systems, to enable student to pass NATE Service exam. A passing score of 70% is required on the Core & Speciality test, to receive NATE certification.
